Project Overview
A Belgian wholesale wine merchant with an online sales channel was using a WooCommerce webshop for online sales and Winbooks as their accounting software. Each order had to be manually re-entered in Winbooks, which with increasing order volume caused duplicate work, accounting delays and risk of errors. The request was to integrate both systems so that sales data would flow automatically and correctly.

Development of a one-way integration from WooCommerce to Winbooks
Automatic export of order data from WooCommerce in the correct format for WBLinker
Complete mapping of all relevant data: orders, customers, product codes, VAT codes, payments and general ledger accounts
Import of the supplied files into Winbooks via WBLinker, Winbooks' standard import tool
Error handling and logging for monitoring and tracking of each import
Setup designed to scale smoothly with growing order volume
Results
Orders placed in the WooCommerce webshop now automatically and correctly flow through to Winbooks. Manual data entry has been completely eliminated, resulting in faster accounting processing, fewer errors and a reliable overview of online sales in the accounting software.
